Squirtle 007/165 Reverse Foil - 151 - ACE 9 Mint

Small card. Big affection. Squirtle at 007/165 from 151, in reverse foil, which puts the shine across the border and leaves the artwork itself clean — and that is the version most people actually want off that page.

Ace graded it 9 Mint. Reverse foils are awkward things to grade, because the foil border shows every knock and the centring is rarely generous, so a nine is a genuinely good result rather than a consolation prize. In hand you will not spot what kept it off a ten.

The Kanto starters have never needed to try very hard, and Squirtle least of all. Cert 1273612 on the label, verifiable with Ace. There is one of these, sold exactly as graded.
