If you've been collecting the Simplified Chinese Pokémon sets and wondered where the Sword & Shield era begins, this is it. Dynamax Clash – Thunder (极巨争锋 雷, set code CS1aC) was one of the two packs that opened Pokémon China's Sword & Shield era in May 2023, and this is the Jumbo pack — 25 cards rather than the usual five.

A Jumbo pack is a mainland China format with no exact equivalent in the English or Japanese game: one pack holds 20 regular cards and 5 foils, so it's closer to opening five packs at once than one.
