Ancient Origins

Ancient Origins

Ancient Origins is a 2015 XY-era expansion and one of the more distinctive sets of that generation. It leaned on the Ancient Trait mechanic — small symbols printed above the card name that grant a permanent rule change rather than an attack — split between the Alpha and Omega traits. The full art Charizard EX is the card that keeps collectors returning to it.

We stock Ancient Origins as single booster packs. XY-era sealed product is long past its print run, so packs are how most people revisit the set now, and they are worth treating as collectable in their own right. Tracked UK dispatch; in the shop at Highworth, Wiltshire from 5 September 2026.

All products are sourced from trusted, genuine distributors. Booster pack contents are randomised — cards vary by pack, and no specific card, including any pictured or mentioned chase card, is guaranteed.
