Single copies only — no restocks, no second chances.

Why collectors buy slabbed

Once a card is encapsulated its condition is fixed. It cannot be handled, sleeved badly, left in sunlight or bent in a binder. For a card you intend to keep, display or eventually resell, the slab is as much protection as it is proof — and it is why a graded copy holds value that a raw one does not.

Reading the label

The label carries the year, set, card name, card number, the grade and a unique certification number. A 10 is Gem Mint; 9 is Mint; 8 is NM-MT. Small differences in centring or a single soft corner are what separate them, which is why two copies of the same card can sit at very different prices.

Buying with confidence

The cert number on every slab we list can be checked against the grading company's own records, so the grade is independently verifiable before you spend anything. Listings show the actual slab, photographed front and back — not a stock image of another copy.

Pokémon and beyond

Most slabbed stock is Pokémon — see Pokémon Slabs.
